1st XV v Barnardiston Hall

Despite the comfortable score line, this was a slightly frustrating performance, as the bitter cold conditions and a competitive opposition rather pushed us into our shell and we forgot what we do best: play fast, expansive rugby together as a team.  Too often we tried to do things as individuals, rather than looking to off load and keep the ball alive.  On occasion we did put passages to play together and looked at our best, but greater consistency of performance is definitely needed.  Odd flashes of individual brilliance were there and we stopped taking conversions after the fourth try to keep the score below 50 points and thus play the full game.  Having said this, we scored 8 tires, without playing too well, so the team continued to show their quality.

Overall Season: Played 9, Won 8, Lost 1.
